Fast growing reliable variety, with a small seed cavity for less waste. Prefers rich well drained soil. 

Sow indoors March to May or outdoors May

Indoors: In pots of seed compost. Sow singly into a pot edgeways into the compost. Coer with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator ld. Keep at approx. 15-20c. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. 

Outdoors: In a well prepared seed bed. Sow 2 seeds per position, 90cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.

Care

Indoors: Remove cover when seedlings appear. At 5-6 leaf stage, stand outside for a few days (avoid frosts). Transplant 90cm apart in growing position. Keep well watered and weed free.

Outdoors: Thin to one strong seedling per position. Keep well watered and weed free.

Harvest: August to October. Harvest before the first frosts.
